I am a college graduate who is looking to start work in the gaming industry. I have obtained a Bachelors of the Fine Arts degree in Visual Communication: Game Design, with a special emphasis on 3D work. I have lived my life so far in the city of Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. I have been playing games for as long as I can remember, from Dungeons and Dragons to Call of Duty 4. I love a good game. What sets me apart from all the others massed to get into the same workplace is that I don't ever give up or get discouraged. Take this website for example, I had not put anything together on the internet for years and had many difficulties in putting this together. In the end, I persevered, learning to master the finer aspects of CSS stylesheets and combining that knowledge with what I knew of HTML. The result you can see here. If I don't know something, I will look it up or ask about it. I don't give up on anything I'm dedicated towards.
I have designed many games and levels from concept to creation, for D&D and various Multi-User Dungeons online, and modded a few Battlefield 1942 maps. The idea of making a thought into reality is probably one of the most powerful things I have ever encountered. I love to create worlds, to add depth and detail to them, to create a meaning behind everything from the smallest crate to the largest building. Creating a virtual reality is something I will always jump into with both feet and I look forward to learning new things every day.
